Your tasks:

• Evaluation, development and optimization of synthesis according to customer requirements
• Laboratory production of active pharmaceutical ingredients, also according to GMP guidelines
• Development and transfer of processes to production scale
• Continuous process optimization using statistical methods (PAR studies and DOE)
• Evaluation of synthesis methods for offers based on experience and knowledge
• Interface management and interdisciplinary project management for development, analysis, production and quality assurance
• Documentation of laboratory results and model calculations in technical reports and project documentation
• Preparation and documentation of process validation activities
• Presentation and communication to specialist colleagues, customers and management

Your profile: 

• Degree in chemistry at MSc or PhD level with specialization in organic chemistry
• At least five years of professional experience in chemical process development
• Experience in the GMP environment is an advantage
• Knowledge and experience of scale-up activities and preparative chromatography
• Knowledge of Design Space, Quality by Design (QbD), Quality Risk Analysis and control strategy
• Experience in the preparation and execution of process validation activities would be an advantage
• Good communication skills in French and English spoken and written. German spoken and written would be an advantage.
